1 Year GEMSA Warranty
All GEMSA jewellery is covered by a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. During this period, we will happily offer a complimentary repair or replacement if your piece experiences a fault due to a manufacturing defect.

Gold Vermeil & Replating
GEMSA jewellery is crafted using premium gold vermeil, electroplated with 2.5–3 microns of real 18k gold over sterling silver. This finish is significantly thicker and more durable than standard gold plating and is designed to age beautifully with proper care. Jewellery, like all meaningful objects, evolves with wear. Over time, gentle fading can naturally occur depending on use, environment, and care.
To support the longevity of your piece, we offer the following:
Complimentary Replating (First Year)
Within 12 months of purchase, GEMSA offers one complimentary replating service should your jewellery require it due to natural fading.
• This service is available once per piece
• Applies to original purchases only
• The piece must not have been previously replated or altered
Customers are responsible for shipping the piece to us; GEMSA will cover the replating service and return shipping.
Replating Beyond One Year
After the first year, replating and repairs remain available as part of our ongoing care service.
• Replating is offered for a small fee
• This allows your jewellery to continue being worn and enjoyed for years to come
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Our warranty and replating service do not cover:
• Lost or stolen jewellery
• Damage caused by improper use, storage, or impact
• Normal wear such as scratches, bent components, or snapped chains
• Damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, hand sanitisers, or water exposure
• Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
• Items purchased through unauthorised third-party retailers
Proof of purchase is required to activate any warranty or care service.

Gold vermeil jewellery is best removed before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying perfumes and lotions.
