MY ACCOUNT
To create a Gemsa account, go to our registration page. You will be asked to sign up with a valid email address and create a password. Once complete, you will receive an email to verify your account.
If you have forgotten your password, click here to reset it or follow the FORGOTTEN PASSWORD link on the My Account page. Follow the steps and click RESET PASSWORD. We will send a link to the email address you have provided, which will enable you to reset your password.
You are able to edit your personal details such as your name, phone number, email address and password from within My Account.
Yes, when you have placed the goods into your shopping bag and started the checkout process, you can select Guest Checkout. This means we will only collect the minimum amount of details from you to process your order and you will not be required to create an account.

You can add yourself to a waitlist for a sold-out product by going to the product page and clicking the “Notify Me When Available” button. We will send you an email notification as soon as the product is available for purchase again.
If the product you are looking for is no longer on our website, it means this style is retired and we do not have plans to restock it.
PRODUCT CARE & MATERIALS
- Our specially designed polishing cloth is included in each order to keep your jewellery looking bright and help prevent tarnishing. Suitable for use on sterling silver, plated jewellery, and precious metals.
- Buff the piece gently in one direction rather than circular motions. Do not wash the polishing cloth, as it will lose its effectiveness.
- No chemicals or jewellery cleaning agents should be used on gold-plated pieces.
- To retain their shine and prevent tarnishing, please remove jewellery before washing your hands, showering, swimming, or exercising.
- Please keep away from liquids, perfume, body lotions, and hairspray. To prevent tarnishing, we suggest applying perfumes, creams and hair care products before putting on your jewellery.
- Always store your jewellery pieces separately, preferably in your Gemsa Jewellery box so that they don't rub together or become tangled. And to protect them from direct sunlight, heat, or moisture.
- Please store the same metals together as mixing different metals in the same storage place for too long can result in tarnishing.
All our Sterling Silver products are protected with an anti-tarnish solution to help prevent tarnish but this may eventually wear with time.Silver tarnishes when exposed to water, chemicals, high temperatures or humidity in our everyday lives so we recommend caring for, wearing and storing your jewellery as mentioned above.
All our pieces are made with 100% pure 925 Sterling silver. Our vermeil pieces are made from a thicker layer of 18k solid gold on sterling silver meaning it will last longer. We use 18k gold that is a minimum of 2.5 microns thick, as required to classify vermeil, layered over sterling silver. All of our 18k gold plated silver and vermeil pieces are stamped with “925”.
All our heavy Sterling Silver (18ct gold plate) pieces are additionally stamped with “GEMSA”.
We use Cubic Zirconia, offering a durable and affordable alternative to diamonds. You get the look without breaking the bank!
A hallmark is a mark stamped or lasered onto certain metals such as gold, silver, or platinum by the British assay offices, certifying their standard of purity.
Gemsa London takes all the necessary steps to ensure that our jewellery complies with UK laws and regulations. All our pieces heavier than 7.78 grams have a further hallmark engraved as (GL), to demonstrate that our pieces have independently been tested and certified by one of the four UK Assay offices.

Rings
Find Your Perfect Fit
Option 1: Measure An Existing Ring
- Select an existing ring that fits the desired finger.
- Measure the internal diameter of the ring (in mm). Do this by placing your ring on top of a ruler and taking the measurement from the internal centre left hand side to the internal centre right hand side.
- Take a look at the below chart to determine your ring size.
- Size up if you’re in between two sizes.
Option 2: Measure your finger
- Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string around your finger where you’d like your ring to be.
- Make sure that the string or paper is pulled snug to your finger to find your best fit.
- With a pen, mark the spot where the string meets.
- Take the string and place it on a ruler and measure the distance to the marked spot with a ruler (mm).
- Use the below chart to determine your ring size.
- Size up if you’re in between two sizes.

Tips & Tricks
- Cold weather can shrink your fingers up to half a size, so make sure they’re warm.
- If you’re in-between sizes, we’d suggest sizing up rather than down. For example, if you know your finger is a UK size O, look at our UK size chart and you’ll see O would be in-between N and P, therefore you fall between a Medium and a Large on the chart. We’d suggest you choose size Large.
Necklaces
Use the image below as a guide for where our necklaces hang. Most of our designs come with multiple positions for the perfect fit. For example, a 45cm necklace comes with a 5cm extra chain extension. This means you can find the best place to wear your necklace to suit you. All necklace lengths can be found on the details tab on the item page.

Our team prepares your order immediately so we can get your order to you as soon as possible. Once an order has been placed, we cannot make any changes or cancel your orders.
You can return your order once you have received it, please see our returns policy for more information on how to do this.
If you have entered an incorrect shipping address on your order, please contact us immediately with your order number. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
If you haven't received your order confirmation email, please check your spam/junk folder and search for emails from us or you can head over to your account to check your order details. If you are still unable to locate your confirmation email, please contact our team at contact@gemsa.co.ukand we will resend your order confirmation right away.
If you have a Gemsa account, simply log in and select “My Orders” in the drop-down menu under your name. There, you can find the order number! If you haven't created an account, you still can create one anytime with the same email address used to place the order.
If you have a promotional code to use on our site, it's very easy, at the checkout page, enter the code in the box labelled 'Gift card or discount code'. Click 'Apply' and if your basket meets the conditions of the offer, your code will apply.Please note that you can't use multiple codes in one transaction.
All Gemsa pieces are beautifully packed in our branded white gift box and ribbon. All is wrapped in designed delicate paper. Our beautiful packaging is perfect for gifting, however, you can also add one of our lovely brandedgift bags onto your order, for that extra ultra-luxe finishing touch! Yes, certainly we do! Please click here and choose the digital gift card in your preferred value. The digital gift card will be emailed directly to the recipient.
The following conditions apply:
- Gemsa gift cards are only valid if purchased on gemsa.co.uk.
- Only one code can be used per transaction.
- Discount codes cannot be applied to digital gift cards.
- Gift wrapping is not available when purchasing a digital gift card.
- Digital Gift Cards are non-refundable and no cash alternative is available.
- Digital gift cards are only available to UK customers. We do not offer gift cards for international customers at this time.
After purchasing a Digital Gift Card, you will receive an order confirmation email. You will also receive a separate email with your unique gift card number and a link to access the gift card. If you are giving this gift card to someone else, we recommend forwarding the email with the card number and link to them.
To apply a gift card to your order, enter your gift card number at checkout in the field labeled “Gift Card or discount code”. Please make sure to click “Apply” before proceeding to the next page. The value of your gift card will be automatically deducted from the order.
We currently do not provide a click and collect service.
Once your order is packed shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email, so that you can track your parcel right to your door!
PAYMENTS
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Alipay, Amazon Pay, PayPal, and Klarna. We may also accept additional payment methods depending on which country you are shopping from. Any available payment methods will be displayed on our checkout page. If you do not see a specific payment method listed on the checkout page, it means we do not accept that payment method.
All payments will be taken on completion of the order, please allow 3-5 days for the payment to show in your bank account. This depends on your payment provider.
We assure you that your payment information is always safe when you order from Gemsa Jewellery. Our website incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for all financial transactions.

Klarna is a Swedish payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Klarna is the provider of smooth payments to more than 200,000 online stores. Over 90 million consumers worldwide have trusted Klarna to securely handle their payments. Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments is a form of credit that allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by Gemsa Jewellery and instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled 30 and 60 days later, respectively. You can always monitor your payments schedule in the Klarna app.
To use Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments you must be at least 18. Whilst this option is widely promoted, pay later in 3 interest-free instalments is subject to your financial circumstances. When choosing Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments, our assessment will not affect your credit rating.
If you want to make a purchase with Klarna using Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments, you'll need to provide your mobile phone number, email address, current billing address and a debit or credit card. A mobile number is required in case we need to reach you. All communications will be sent to your email address. It's very important that you give us the correct details, as otherwise, you will not receive your payment schedule and any updated order information.
Klarna may run so-called unrecorded enquiries (or soft credit searches) that do not affect credit scoring and are only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to other lenders. Neither Klarna nor Gemsa Jewellery run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating.
Although Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments is widely promoted it is not always universally available. The Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments payment option is automatically generated by algorithms that are dependent upon a number of factors including address details, cardholder details, amount of order, the online store, previous order history and item availability.
As soon as Gemsa Jewelleryhas accepted your cancellation/return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your payment for your Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments purchase at Gemsa Jewellery from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment on the scheduled due date Klarna will make one further attempt to automatically collect payment two days later.
Should this last payment attempt fail, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15 days later. Klarna shall notify you when a payment is due two days in advance of attempting to collect your payment and you can always monitor the due date in Klarna app at your convenience.
You will not be charged fees or interest for late and/or missed repayment(s). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s ‘Pay later in 3 instalments’ product even if you have failed to pay on time. If you fail to make a payment you will be in default, and may be unable to use Klarna in the future.
We may continue to attempt to collect overdue and currently due payments on subsequent due dates, or invoice you separately for the unpaid total. If you do not pay for your purchase, Klarna may engage with an external debt collection agency to collect on our behalf. Debt collection agencies are used as a last resort.
Yes. Just go to the Klarna app or log onto Klarna.com/uk and pay off early.
Once Gemsa Jewellery has received and accepted the return and you have received their confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you've made a partial return. With a full return, we shall refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments.
You are always able to monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app.

Import Duties & Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties, additional tariffs and tax charges once they reach their destination country outside of the UK. These charges are automatically payable by the customer upon delivery.
Unfortunately, these charges are out of our control and will not be covered by Gemsa Jewellery. You will be contacted by a third party company to pay your customs fees.
For more accurate information, we would suggest getting in touch with your local customs office. If you choose not to pay the customs fee and the parcel is returned back to Gemsa Jewellery, a shipping & handling fee may be deducted from your refund.

International orders may be subject to customs or import duties, additional tariffs, and tax charges, once they reach their destination country outside of the UK. These additional charges, if any, are the sole responsibility of the customer.
These charges vary widely from country to country, so we're unable to predict what your particular charges may be. These charges are payable by the customer upon delivery, you will be contacted by a third-party company to pay your customs fees.
Unfortunately, these charges are out of our control and will not be covered by Gemsa Jewellery. For more accurate information, we would suggest getting in touch with your local customs office. If you choose not to pay the customs fee and the parcel is returned back to Gemsa, you will be refunded for the order after deducting the return shipping and handling fee.
We ship to most countries around the world, international Express Shipping will take approximately 2-14 working days, depending on the destination country.
Kindly note:
we do not ship to PO Boxes.
We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched, so please supply an address where you will be available to sign and receive your order. If you wish to redirect your parcel, please contact the courier company with your order directly.
We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, BFPO addresses, mail-forwarding addresses, and temporary residence addresses. This is the ensure the safe undamaged delivery of your Gemsa order.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We hope you love your order. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your order, we accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date.
All returns must be:
- Unworn
- Undamaged
- All returned jewellery must arrive in its original condition, along with the original tags and packaging including the original jewellery box
Promotional Items
Gemsa may run promotions from time to time, if you received a complimentary free item with your purchase then you must return the item as well in order to receive a full refund.
Bundle Sets
The bundle can only be returned as a set. No individual item of a bundle can be returned for a refund.
Please note:
- Items received after 30 days will not be accepted.
- Your original shipping fee is not refundable.
- Should the returned item not meet the return guidelines, Gemsa Jewellery has the right to deny a return and have the item re-shipped to the customer.
- Items purchased through a third-party vendor (outside of www.gemsa.co.uk ) must be returned through the company that it was purchased from.
- We cannot refund gift bags or gift cards.
- Please note that personalised/engraved items have been custom-made bespoke for you and therefore not eligible for return or exchange. All personalised/engraved sales are final.
- Due to hygiene reasons, earrings are not eligible for return. All earring sales are final.

- If your return is accepted, you will get a confirmation email with instructions on how and where to send your package.
- Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- When returning your item, please use a trackable shipping service and obtain proof of postage and a tracking number.
- All return shipments must be sent with “Signature Required” for any carrier used.
- Customers are responsible for shipping and handling charges for returns. Shipping costs are there for non-refundable.
- Please note that international customs duties and sales taxes are Non-Refundable.
- Any returns received in unsatisfactory conditions or lost in the mailing process will not be accepted and responsibility will be held by the customer.
International Returns
As an International customer, you can return your parcel using your own chosen courier service. It’s a good idea to mark your parcel as ‘returned goods’ to avoid being charged any duties.
Please note:
- Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- Items received after 30 days will not be accepted.
- Should the returned item not meet the return guidelines, Gemsa Jewellery has the right to deny a return and have the item re-shipped to the customer.
- All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- International customs duties and taxes are Non-refundable.
- The parcel remains your responsibility until it arrives with us. We cannot refund items that don't reach us safely.
- When returning your item, please use a trackable shipping service and obtain proof of postage and a tracking number.
- All return shipments must be sent with “Signature Required” for any carrier used.
Stockist Returns
We are also unable to accept returns on items purchased from our stockists, and all purchases made will need to be returned directly to them. We cannot accept items purchased from our stockists. If you need any further information on our stockist, please go to our Stockist page.
Once your return is received, inspected and approved, you will be notified via email. Refunds usually take 5–10 working days to show in your account. All refunds will always be processed onto the same debit or credit card used for purchase.
For international returns, please allow up to 30 days for your refund to process.
We do not offer free returns at the moment. Please note, for returns customers are responsible for shipping and handling charges.
We sincerely apologise if you have experienced any fault with your Gemsa jewellery or have received the wrong item. Our customer service team would be happy to assist. Please email us directly at contact@gemsa.co.ukbefore returning your item to us, or use our Contact Form so that we can resolve the issue for you.

Yes! We work with content creators based in the UK and internationally.
We will decide together how many jewellery pieces to send you. The styles we send will depend on the type of collaboration and available inventory. You will receive the jewellery to promote our brand, review and create social media content.

WARRANTY
GEMSA offers 1 year warranty on all the pieces from the date of
purchase. Within this time, we offer free replacements for any manufacturing
defects. If your piece has a fault or breakage due to a manufacturing error,
please get in contact and we will replace your piece, at no extra cost.
Please notify us within 48 hours by email (contact@gemsa.co.uk) if the product
arrives damaged upon delivery. The return of the goods to GEMSA must be in the
original packaging and in new condition.
Please note, the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches
that come with normal wear and tear, discoloration due to exposure to
chemicals, washing, bathing, swimming, heat, make-up, perfume or body lotions, damage
from improper use or storage, loss, accidental damage, loss of stones, or any
modification to your jewellery piece done by a third party. Any abuse or misuse
will void the warranty.
We will require proof of purchase to activate the warranty for you, if any
issues please get in touch and we will be more than happy to help.
